This painting is 36" by 48" Acrylic on canvas framed. It is part of my series called "Earth guardians". This Bison is rendered in a monochromatic scheme with a white textured background. This Bison has a determined spirit, coming back from the brink of extinction it possesses the heart of a true fighter. The painting is done with a wash and then many layers of detailed fur to help create its form. My paintings are done with great respect and admiration for the animal kingdom the black and white palette allows me to showcase the chosen subject. A portion of my art sales goes directly to helping selected animal organizations in protection and preservation.
