This painting is 30" by 24" Acrylic on canvas framed. It is part of my series called "Earth guardians". This Lion is rendered in a monochromatic scheme with a white textured background. This Lion is the King of his domain he is brave and Just and powerful. This mighty spirit will lead with wisdom and confidence with the mighty spirit of the Lion. The painting is done with a wash and then many layers of detailed fur to help create its form. My paintings are done with great respect and admiration for the animal kingdom the black and white palette allows me to showcase the chosen subject. A portion of my art sales goes directly to helping selected animal organizations in protection and preservation
