This painting is 40"by 21"Acrylic on canvas framed. It is part of my series called "Earth guardians". This Moose is rendered in Acrylic on Canvas. This Giant is water feeding taking the plunge with his huge horns sometimes up to twenty feet down into the Bottom of the lake for his dinner. The spirit of this animal is in it's strength and pride. The painting is done with a wash and then many layers of detailed fur to help create its form. My paintings are done with great respect and admiration for the animal kingdom. A portion of my art sales goes directly to helping selected animal organizations in protection and preservation.
