This painting is 30" by 40" Acrylic on a 1 1/2" exhibition canvas. It is part of my series called "Earth guardians". This Himalayan Bull is rendered in a monochromatic scheme with a white textured background. One look into the eye's of this Bull and you know he is the Boss. He possesses the bold spirit and the determination and confidence to deal with any situation head on. The painting is done with a wash and then many layers of detailed fur to help create its form. My paintings are done with great respect and admiration for the animal kingdom the black and white palette allows me to showcase the chosen subject. A portion of my art sales goes directly to helping selected animal organizations in protection and preservation.
