My Garden Walk painting, 23 3/4 x 11 3/4 gallery-wrapped painted 1 1/2 sides. I distress the canvas by gessoing it and leaving the swirling patterns showing through. Every garden has a story, my story has been told in many ways, but the most pleasant was to paint a garden I saw on one of my many walks around the parks in Surrey and Langley. Pleasing colour schemes, ornate statuary, comfortable benches to sit on and sometimes we even have a chance to paint what we see, how glorious! |
