Rishika R. Devi is a multifaceted artist, poet, lecturer, and founder of Share Bliss. Born and raised in the Netherlands, she pursued higher education in Canada, obtaining both BA and MA degrees in English Literary Studies from Simon Fraser University. She further enhanced her academic credentials with an Advanced Teaching Certificate from the University of British Columbia (UBC) and immersed herself in Sanskrit studies under Dr. Aklujkar at UBC's Asian Centre. Throughout her career, Rishika has traveled extensively, drawing inspiration from diverse cultures and landscapes. Her non-sectarian approach aligns with the Sanskrit adage "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam," meaning "the world is family." This philosophy underscores her commitment to the Perennial Philosophy, celebrating unity in diversity. In recent years, Rishika has been associated with ISKCON Vancouver, serving as an in-house Sanskritist, lecturer, and contemplative artist-poet-teacher. She regularly delivers lectures to enthusiastic audiences and has been involved in various artistic endeavors. Rishika's artistic style is characterized by simplicity and spontaneity. Working primarily with ink and color on natural paper, she emphasizes intuition in her creations. Her approach reflects a transparent mind, focusing on the connection between hand and heart, aiming to evoke aesthetic delight in the present moment. In addition to her artistic pursuits, Rishika has published five books and continues to share her insights and creations through various platforms. Her work has been praised for its ability to convey profound philosophical concepts through accessible and engaging mediums, bridging the gap between traditional wisdom and contemporary expression.
