| Enjoy one of the more memorable elements of island life, an encounter with killer whales! This numbered Limited Edition Giclee reproduction (L10" x W14") on watercolour paper, from an original watercolour painting portrays two Biggs Orca, aka transient killer whales. Orca have strong family pods and always travel together. but these two bulls are not brothers. "Rocky", on the left belongs with T002 pod, whose mom, sister and her baby prowl the shoreline nearby. His wavy-finned buddy "Rainy" - T011A - is an orphan whose mother has not been seen for more than three years. Rainy was spotted a few days later with a different pod. He appears to be meeting his need for family bonds by hanging out with different pods who appear to accept him with ease. Signed artwork is enclosed in protective cello slip, with backing card and a numbered Certificate of Authenticity. |
