This painting is done in mix media using acrylics and collage on cradled board L8"XW8"XD1.5/8". I wanted to create a painting that felt calm, peaceful and meditative. As a contemporary artist I wanted to convey the feeling of serenity which is what I feel when I look at the ocean. I find the colours of the ocean and circles to be extremely soothing and my hope is that the viewer feels some of the calmness also in this otherwise tumultuous world.
