LANDMARK TELEGRAPH COVE I photographed this image out at Telegraph Cove here on Vancouver Island. As we travelled by boat I was thinking about how when people travelled mostly on the water that they must have been looking for a tree or rocks as a landmark to know where they were. This tree was the tallest along the shoreline. I thought it was pretty cool that its top branched out so beautifully. It was definitely a landmark to me. I applied a painterly effect to it along with some texture and I really love how it turned out!
