The Kermode bear, also known as the "spirit bear", it is a rare white subspecies of the American black bear living in the Central and North Coast regions of British Columbia, Canada. It is the official provincial mammal of British Columbia. Spirit Bear is a more recent name for the White Bear. Appropriate for a bear that is known for its elusive, ghostly yet timid nature. Photographing this rare and beautiful bear has long been on my bucket list - and here he finally is! Printed on glossy metal (aluminum) with gentle rounded corners, this piece is ready to hang, with a back mount fixture so the art seems to float in front of the wall.
