Cross hatch is a unique method of application. A piece of cardboard tipped with paint smacked onto the canvas every inch or so leaves a line of paint, then I change colours and repeat the process from a different angle leaving a layered cross hatched pattern. There is also a small 1" diameter mirror as a focal point.
