Charlene Duncan

I enjoyed a 30 year career as a picture frame on the coast, then I retired to the Kootenays, and decided to take up a hobby about 5 years ago. I have been exposed to art my entire life, my father was an artist and my grandmother introduced me to Canadian classics, like Lawren Harris from a young age. I think it was just a natural progression for me to pick up a paintbrush myself. I live in a beautiful part of the province, and have an unending supply of inspiration. I am fascinated with Crows and paint them often. The silver lining to not being a fan of winter lead me to create, and enjoy, the endless possibilities that painting provides me.
