Life experience gives rise to my inspiration to create each new painting. As an Intuitive Artist, experience has forced me to view life from a different perspective. I have always painted, but I had only painted through my physical eyes. After the death of my son, I began to receive unusual images and messages and started painting from my inner vision. Images began to emerge from the colours on my canvas. My expression constantly expands, my subject matter is not preconceived and constantly varies; from life around me, to people and places from ages past. Whatever the subject, I honour it and do my utmost to preserve its integrity as I capture the image (whether human, nature or abstract). Each painting becomes a new experience as well as a surprise for me.
