Hand painted blazer created as part of the ARTFASHION collection in collaboration with Charlie’s Charmed. Wear the Art! Become living art! The ARTFASHION blazers are made of recycled fashion and hand designed by Olivier Salvas artiste in a gender neutral fashion. Each jacket comes with one flower wood pin. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: - The jackets are second-hand but have been professionally washed - The jackets were painted with acrylic paint. - Pins, studs or any metallic or plastic items were glued onto the jacket or attached with bobby pins, fabric glue or hand stitched. - The concept is that the jacket acts as a canvas for the artwork. You become living art. - The goal of this project is to raise money for charity. - Do not put the jacket in the wash. You can delicately dry clean it at home with a clothes steamer. I would avoid washing it too frequently. - We are not an official clothing company but simply a group of artist wanting to do a special project. Therefore, we are not making any alterations to the jackets or fixing any jackets that can get damaged over time. _____ Les vestons ARTFASHION sont fabriqués à partir de mode recyclé et conçus à la main par l'artiste Olivier Salvas de manière neutre. Chaque veston vient avec une fleur sculptée en bois. INFORMATIONS IMPORTANTES: - Les vestes sont d'occasion mais elles ont été lavées professionnellement - Les vestes ont été peintes à la peinture acrylique. - Des épingles, des clous ou tout autre objet métallique ou plastique ont été collés sur la veste ou attachés avec des épingles à cheveux, de la colle à tissu ou cousus à la main. - Le concept est que la veste agit comme une toile pour l'œuvre d'art. Vous devenez un art vivant. - Le but de ce projet est de récolter des fonds pour des œuvres caritatives. - Ne pas mettre la veste au lavage. Vous pouvez le nettoyer délicatement à sec à la maison avec un défroisseur à vapeur. J'éviterais de le laver trop souvent. - Nous ne sommes pas une entreprise de vêtements officielle mais simplement un groupe d'artistes souhaitant réaliser un projet spécial. Par conséquent, nous n'apportons aucune modification aux vestes et ne réparons aucune veste pouvant être endommagée avec le temps. ARTFASHION is a statement as humans being living art. People wear art, then become the art. It is a testimony to showcase the beauty of a person and make them be the living installation. This collection was built on a floral sculpture that was showcased at the Winnipeg Art Gallery’s Art in Bloom festival. The floral elements in ARTFASHION represent visible growth: it is a symbol of the burden’s someone has been carrying on their shoulders but at the end of the day, the weight they carried is turning into a beautiful garden filled with colours as a symbol of hope.
